An elegant but ferocious gentleman’s fighter
This imposing but lightweight blade is heavily inspired by those made by Henry Schivley; a prolific American bladesmith
Its Flat spine and parallel edge are distinctive of the originals, but my modern take samples other styles with the coffin handle and full flat grind
this blade had an exceptionally thin edge that would wound an attacker that so much as looked at the wielder the wrong way. adding to that, the swedge present in the final third of its length boasts the same shaving sharpness
The Coffin style handle has a pattern welded frame flanked with checkered elforyn supertusk scales and nickel silver pins. the penny guard and spacer are matching pattern welded steel, accentuating the beautiful penny scroll shape. the steel frame lends balance, as this intimidating shape has a surprising point of balance right in front of the guard
The W2 blade blends strength with the beautiful detail of a smoky hamon full of activity
